What Do I Think Life Would Be Like Without Regrets?

Most people get a job they do not like because they get paid more than I job they would like. Robert Frost in my point of view is an introvert person because he would write poems about life. In his poem “After Apple-Picking”, Frost uses metaphor by trying to find desires in one’s life but instead only regrets.
There were many metaphors Frost used. One I chose was, “My long two-pointed ladder’s sticking through a tree/Toward heaven still,” (L: 1-2). What I got from this was Frost may be finding many regrets but soon he will find happiness.
There was a difficult choose of choosing another metaphor. Although it was a tough choice, a metaphor I chose was, “the woodchuck could say whether it’s like his/Long sleep, as I describe its coming on/Or just some human sleep,” (L: 40-43). What I got from this is that a person would not know if it was a day dream or another long day of regret.
To me, my happiness would be doing what I want to do without worrying about money.  What I would like to own my own sweet shop. If I get to have my own sweet shop I would name it “Maysel Sweeten’s Sweet Shop”.  I have been told that I should open a sweet shop because of my last name. Another reason why I would like to own one is because I love baking cake and cupcakes and sweets like that. I think if I do not accomplish something I would like to do then I feel I would have regrets and so what I feel that Frost is trying to state in his poem is that if someone does not do ideas or things someone like to do you may have regrets.

One thing I would change...

One thing that happened in my life I wish I could change is my grandpa's death in 2008. It effected many people. It effected my mom and my grandma the most. My grandma is living and her husband for almost 38 years has died. My mom was my grandma's and grandpas's first child. My mom was just like my grandpa and was a daddy's girl so it impacted her life dramatically. My mom tells me when she wanted to go somewhere or spend the night over a friend's house my grandpa quized her on Classic Rock songs. I feel that if he was still alive it would effect our relationship with him. I feel that.our relationship would be better because I have the same music taste he ha. I sometimes think how mine and my grandpa's relationship would be like if my grandpa and I would be driving in a car and listening to classic rock songs, singing, and saying the name of the song and the artist. I think if my grandpa was still alive my grandma wouldn't be alone or get cats because my grandpa was a dog person. My mom would be happy so would the rest of the family. But most importantly  we would spend the holidays without problems.

My Hobby

My favorite hobby has to be making crafts. I usually have a free day after I do my homework after school so I make some crafts. Some crafts I make are window paint, string bracelets with some having beads and some without beads, I draw pictures and I am currently working on this carpet dog picture. I love doing crafts because I can be creative and expressive myself. I love making different designs paper and drawing eyes and animals. I make crafts and give them to people for presents. I made Samantha Sarvas a present, which was a picture frame with a picture of a group of last year's freshmen, including me and Samantha, with foam shapes. I wrote "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" on it and she really liked it. When people like my gifts and they really enjoy them it makes me feel good. And that encourages me more to make more crafts.

The Beatles

My favorite kind of music is classic rock. I find it very calming. I like the band The Beatles the most. They make very catchy songs and to me, they make songs about random subjects. They made songs about a yellow submarine, walrus, octopus's garden, paperback writer, bulldog, lonely people, and much more. I like the sound of the Beatles voices altogether. I believe they are really good artists. I have many favorite songs by the Beatles. Some are "Hey Jude", "When I'm Sixty-four", "Help", Eleanor Rigby", "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Day in a Life", and many more. The Beatles made better music than what is being made today. The Beatles did not really make every song about girls, sex, or drugs unlike music today, that's another reason why I like them! Like I said before to me they make very catchy songs. I would sing one of their songs and have it stuck in my head all day.
