Maysel
Maysel is my name. I got the name from my grandmother. My grandmother is a hierarchy over me. Some people say that being extroverted and rambunctious is because of the name Maysel. Maysel is Australian and pronounced like month May and soul as in a person has a soul. Maysel is like a unicorn, beautiful but rare. I am my name, it is me. I was given this name because when i was born, my mother didn't have a girl name for me. This happened because everyone thought I was going to be a boy, except for my grandmother. My name would have been William Thomas Sweeten Jr. if I was a boy and once my parents found out i was a girl my father suggested to name me Maysel because when my mother was pregnant my grandmother always jokingly said that my parent should name the child Maysel. So since my parents didn't have a girl name for me, I was named Maysel Madeline Sweeten.
